Who we are

Pawbrokers™ was launched when one woman, Roxanne Blake, saw a critical need to find a way to support rescued and abandoned animals in her community. After reaching out to friends and family for donations of jewelry, she and a friend held a party in her home. The proceeds were over $2200 ~100% went to a local rescue. That was just the beginning…Every penny raised has been donated to the many organizations from South Carolina to New York since.

More parties have been held bringing in considerable donations to support organizations and individuals who care for animals. Anyone can throw a party. It's fun and easy ~ and feels great. Using a "pay-it-forward" concept…people can clean out their own jewelry boxes, bring no longer used jewelry, both costume and fine, to the party, that is then used to supply future parties. And there's no pressure to bring jewelry ~ just bring yourself and a friend, you can also bring dog or cat food for the shelters. Party-goers have the opportunity to buy beautiful jewelry and other accessories at the party guilt-free, knowing their purchases fund animal organizations who transport, rescue, neuter, spay and otherwise attend to the well-being of those animals abused and abandoned.

WE WANT TO GET PAWBROKERS (AND ROXANNE)

OUT TO THE MEDIA.

Please write Ellen DeGeneres (this is a link to her show)

and ask her to help this cause by getting the word out and Roxanne on!

Ellen is an animal lover and a supporter of all causes big and small.

We just know she'll love this small but powerful organization.
